Pair of George III mahogany dining chairs in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, each with pierced splat back, later upholstered detachable seat, on chamfered supports with adjoining under stretchers, 95cm high. (2)
In poor condition. They have replacement rear blocks There is damage to both splats, one had two breaks. One chair has two splits, a gouge out of the splat and a repair to the top rail. Appear to be period, but would not recommend buying without seeing them in the flesh.
