A GEORGE III NAVAL OFFICER'S SWORD AND SCABBARD BY DRURY OF LONDON. The 82 cm broad curved blade with central fuller, marked indistinctly 'O I NN O I' and possible arabic markings to the back of the blade. On a naval type guard with straight cross-piece with unusual mask langets, perhaps 'poseidon', with narrow knuckle guard, checkered ivory grip and lion's head pommel. In a brass mounted black leather scabbard with twin ring suspension and three mounts, the top mount marked 'Drury Cutler to his Majesty, Strand'. 97 cm. Ivory Submission Reference: 3554T1ZD.

Scabbard with slack leather and wear throughout - but intact. The balde with marking and pitting, chipping to ivory by the top mount.

Transit time is normally set to 7 days but can take up to 14 days. Delivery will only start after we have confirmed receipt of your payment both for the item and the shipping invoice. All transportation is covered by a basic transport insurance but you can choose to add additional shipping insurance. Combined Shipping: You will receive separate shipping invoices for each lot. However, if you are buying multiple lots in the auction, shipping discounts will be available.
