AN ANTIQUE OPAL BROOCH, the double sided oval opal cabochon measuring approximately 35mm x 26mm and depth 5.35mm, guilloche enamel and yellow metal border, unmarked, 39mm x 31mm, gross weight 13.7g.
Condition - the opal appears with hairlines to front and back, losses to enamel, opal with light scratches, polish generally good, minor wear to metal.
