Two Roman iridescent glass unguentariums, 1st-2nd century AD, one in clear glass, with a flat, everted rim and slender neck, pinched-in above the teardrop-shaped body; the other in pale green glass with an everted rim and tubular neck, pinched-in above the slender ovoid body, both 5in. (12.7cm.) high. (2)
* Condition: Both intact with no damage to the glass. Both with a good level of iridescence to the glass. The clear glass example with encrustation to the base and a scattering elsewhere. The green glass example with dark brown encrustation to the top of the neck and rim.
