A George IV needlework sampler worked with alphabets and numbers above Adam & Eve with the snake and apple-tree, by Mary Swell, aged 11, 1822, 43 x 26 cm, to/w an alphabet sampler with vase of flowers by Mary Nixon (or Dixon) 1833 (probably), 25 x 23 cm (2 - both framed and glazed)
Signs of foxing and one loose thread otherwise in good condition, potential signs of colour fading but hard to tell
