A Royal Worcester cabinet plate decorated by E. Phillips, early 20th century, the well profusely hand-painted with flowers and foliage within an ornate gilt border of vases, floral sprays and foliate swags against a mottled blue ground, puce printed maker's mark for 1923, registered design number 651926, painted 'C2297' and 'XR' to base, 27cm diameter
The plate shows very minor surface wear to the front and minor wear to the underside, but no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration.
