A very rare Caughley 'Pickle Leaf Spray' pickle leaf dish, circa 1772-82, painted to the centre with a simple spray accompanied by three smaller sprigs and one larger sprig to the tip, within feather-edged blue border, unmarked, 9.5cm wide Provenance: David Waterhouse Collection. DMW no. 307. Formerly Maurice Wright Collection. Illustrated on p.97 of the Caughley Blue and White Pattern Book. Condition:Small nibbles to rim at 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock
