WW1 British Steel Combat Helmet with Trench Cover, good example of a standard 2nd model brodie steel helmet with cover to the brim. Complete with its oilskin liner system which has pink brodie stamp to the underside. The helmet has an original issue type khaki cloth four panel trench cover with eyelets. Also accompanied by a later made leather helmet harness / carrier. (2 items)
We have been unable to remove the helmet cover to inspect the exterior of the steel helmet.
