A star sapphire and diamond cluster ring, comprising a claw-set high domed sapphire cabochon of medium purplish-blue colour, measuring 11.85 x 11.5mm x 9.9mm, encircled by a graduating row of claw-set brilliant-cut diamonds and a graduating row of channel-set calibre-cut diamonds, the brilliant-cut diamonds with an estimated carat weight of 0.81ct, to a tapering white metal shank testing as platinum, the shank inscribed ‘Tiffany’, size M ½, boxed, 9.3 grams.
