A Chinese glass bead court necklace, Chaozhu, late Qing dynasty - with glass and clay beads simulating amber, jade and coral and gilt metal mounts, probable later alterations to stringing, overall length approximately 80cm.
* The stringing has been altered and the necklace no longer hangs in its original, correct form (see photos). There is a large chip and a much smaller chip to the largest green jade-style glass panel and the blue and amber coloured glass pendants both have a small chip.
