WW1 British Verners Pattern VIII Compass maker marked and dated "S Mordan & Co 1918". Serial number 139664. Working order. Complete with leather carrying pouch, maker marked and dated "D Stocks, Edinburgh 1918", closesure strap a/f. Both Compass and pouch have been marked with owners initials "EMC" and pouch additionally marked "17L" for 17th Lancers.
