WW2 RCAF, Deacon Flying Suit Electrically Heated Undersuit. A very good example of the Royal Canadian Air Force Deacon electrically heated undersuit Type 'B'. The suit constructed in a heavy cotton has its button closure and heated wiring elements all in situ. The original period labels, one to the outer stating 'RCAF Electrical Undersuit Type B' and dating the garment to 1944 and the Deacon tailors label inside the collar are both in situ. Press studded cuffs for the gloves elements and the two prong jack plug remain with a regulator box. Whats especially nice is the paper label which still hang from the coat hook, with the RCAF crest and intructions of use. Good unissed conditon with minimal storage related wear. Rare item of flying clothing.
