£130
A set of 12 early 20th century fine Coalport porcelain dessert plates; each with raised beaded gilded border and hand-decorated vignettes of floral sprays flanked by blue ground, each also with gilded initial K to the centre (some plates with wall-hanging adhesive plate hangers, one plate with crack across centre) (23cm wide)
Condition Report: It is noted on some plates there is minor gilt rubbing mostly to the insides of the gilding at the centre where the gilding meets the blue cobalt panel reserve. Some minor knife marks noted on middle of some plates. Some plates have adhesive plate hangers to the back. Plates appear quite dirty and grubby to the underside but easily remedied. One plate has prevalent glaze crazing mostly confined to the centre, one plate has a large approx. 16cm crack running across the middle and through the initial 'K' which is seen both from the front and the underside. One plate has a 6cm/7cm crack mostly visible from the underside and running from the edge of the plate into the foot rim. Otherwise in general good overall original condition.
