Isobel (Empress of Germany and Queen of Spain, wife of Charles V and mother of Philip II), one page folio document, Madrid 17th February 1530, to Gorge Ruis de Alarcon explaining that the Duke of Arcos has asked her to lend him a certain number of oars that were deposited at Cartagena to be used in his galleys against the Turks and asking him to give her an account of them (slightly oxidised, right hand border damaged but not effecting text), 12ins x 8.5ins
