Two pieces:
1. a 19th century Chinese blue-and-white porcelain charger decorated with exotic birds amongst peony and leaves (37.75 cm in diameter). * Condition: 3in. hairline to rim - visible to both upper and lower surface of the dish. Tiny iron oxide coloured glaze flaw to rim. No other faults or damage. No restoration.
2. a 19th century Japanese porcelain teapot (minus cover), similarly decorated in underglaze blue with a bird flying above foliage and shrubs, painted four-character mark to underside, moulded dragon handle (12 cm in diameter). * Condition: Lacks cover. Otherwise good with no chips, cracks or other faults.
