A KUTAHIYA STYLE CERAMIC ROSEWATER SPRINKLER BY SAMSON, FRANCE, 19TH CENTURY
The bottle features a long, narrow neck and a bulbous base, decorated with alternating vertical floral panels in vibrant cobalt blue, green, and red over a white ground. The floral motifs are distinctly Ottoman in inspiration, and the overall form is reminiscent of traditional Turkish rosewater sprinklers used in ceremonial or perfuming contexts.
