Two Victorian tested 9ct gold black enamelled woven hair mourning brooches, to include a brooch with "IN MEMORY OF" in gold coloured lettering to the black enamel, with scroll leaf design going around the brooch, inscribed to the reverse "J.Elliott OBT.May 1st 1835 AET.57.", approx. 2.8cm long and 2.3cm high; the other brooch has "IN MEMORY OF" in gold coloured lettering to the black enamel, inscribed on back "John Fruslove Obt. Sep 5. 1840. AE.76", approx. 2.2cm long and 1.8cm high, each brooch has a central rectangular shaped panel with woven hair, approx. 10g gross.
