A striking original watercolour showing a warm rendition of the Wicklow Hills by renowned Irish artist Peter Knuttel. The piece is hand signed and titled bottom right. Knuttel is a renowned Irish watercolourist, with lots of auction history and hammer prices reaching the mid to high hundreds. H 30 x W 48 cm incl frame.
Knuttel studied at NCAD in Dublin and has achieved international recognition for his etchings and watercolours, of which this is an excellent example. Knuttel is one of Ireland's best known watercolourists and print makers. He is a founder member of the Graphic Studio in Dublin.
