A World War I death penny/plaque awarded to John William Booth, comes with a silk In Loving Memory bookmark printed with a "For King & Country" design and with sepia photograph attached, lists "Corporal John William Booth No.8769 21st Batt. Manchester Regiment Aged 34 years, Died of wounds received in Action in France October 6. 1917 whilst serving with the Expeditionary Forces in the Great European War", followed by a two verse poem and "From his sorrowing wife Katie" and an adddress in Salford, together with a WWI medal awarded to 14141 Pte. J. Sloan L.N. Lanc. R, a damaged WWI postcard and an Imperial War Graves Commission request for payment for the headstone inscription for Pte. A.
