Keen, Jeff (British 1923-2012) 'ZAP'. Enamel on hardboard panel. Provenance: Purchased amongst other pieces by the vendor's late husband (likely in support of the aspiring artist) during the 1950's, during his time at Brighton Art College where he studied alongside Jackie Keen (the artist's wife) he formed a close bond with the couple and went on to appear in a number of Keen's 8mm films. Board measures approx 61 x 61 cm. Some small nail holes around edge of board with two wooden batons affixed to back.
