A 19TH CENTURY AFGHAN PESH KABZ OR KHYBER KNIFE AND SCABBARD. A Khyber knife with a 40 cm straight, tapering blade of strengthened 'T' section with decoration to the back. The blade on a Brass mount and two part wooden grip with slight 'spot' decoration. In a scabbard with similar metal mounts and a panel of animal hide decoration. 72 cm.
Some scuffing to scabbard, some light marking, possibly brass bands lacking to scabbard. Collection number to both parts.
