A Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, Yuhuchunping, Qianlong Of ovoid shape with everted rim, decorated with a continuous scene of fruiting trees and flowering plants including pomegranates, finger citron, grapes, pine, peonies and willow, the neck with a band of stiff banana leaves, the inside rim with a narrow diaper band. 37.5cm high (small chip to foot rim) Acquired in 1929 at a dispersal sale of the contents of Walcot Hall, Lydbury, Shropshire, thence by descent to the vendor.
