1938 1d scarlet perf 13½ x 13 bottom two rows of the sheet (twenty stamps), Plate 1 under R12/2 and DLR imprint, unmounted o.g. Shows a really strong example of the R11/2 re-entered top of sky, and a scratch through the imprint. Remarkably fresh, extremely rare, a terrific showpiece. SG 249, £5500
