19th century Robert Jones & Son Birmingham patent corkscrew, Reg. No.423, 8th October 1840 with bone handle, 16cm when closed
The thread has general surface rusting, the bone handle has some cracking and small nibbles commensurate with age. One of the prongs is slightly bent inwards and has been shortened, the end of the worm has been broken off.
