Iconic pre WW2 German Zeppelin travel poster designed by Jupp Wiertz (1888-1939) in 1936. Published by Eschebach & Schaeffer of Leipzig on behalf of DZR travel company. It depicts a Zeppelin with swastika tail fins flying over an island on its way to South America. Examples normally have advertising text in either German, Italian, French or English. This example is extremely rare in having no advertising text and was probably an early production test print. Protected under perspex with a card back it is in excellent condition. Overall framed size 85cms x 59.5cms
