A large Antique Russian icon, 18th or 19th century, depicting Mary with the Infant Christ, oil on thick wood panel with gilded and engraved ground, 98cm x 52cm
Wood panel is very slightly curved/warped, there is some surface rubbing around Mary's hands, gilding slightly tarnished, surface chip on top right-hand corner and some other very minor age-related abrasions, generally good
