A late 19th to early 20th Century majolica figure of an African boy holding a basket in one hand and supporting a vessel on his head, unmarked, height 34cm, S/D.

There is an old break to the neck which has been reglued. There is a chip to the back of his sleeve, losses to the leaves on the fruit in his basket, an old repair to the vessel on his head and all over crazing.
