A 19th century Chinese ladies pink silk damask embroidered wedding skirt, the front panels embroidered mostly in gold thread with auspicious symbols and ornate coloured butterflies. The back pleats are part embroidered with gold thread. The skirt is bordered with blue embroidered black silk, 100cm long.
