A glazed terracotta tripod jar, Han Dynasty Of ovoid form and raised on three moulded peg feet, each having a small raised mask above, and with two raised tramline bands at the shoulder and mid-section, decorated with green and ochre glazes. 16.5cm high English private collection, the property of a gentleman. Acquired from Venessa Purcell Antiquities, Manchester, in 1994 (with receipt).
