A group of Georgian plain stem glasses, comprising: a small wine glass, c.1750, with cup bowl and folded foot, 13.2cm high; a liqueur glass c.1760, with drawn trumpet bowl, 7.8cm high; an ale glass, c.1760, with flanged bowl, 16.8cm high; a Jacobite sympathy port glass, c.1786, the drawn trumpet bowl engraved with the ?bird in flight?, 12cm high; a tavern cordial glass, c.1790, with cup bowl, 8.3cm high; and a wine glass with knopped stem and large bowl, 14.4cm high (6)ÿ
Provenance: Private UK Collection, assembled until c.1955 and thence by family descent.ÿ
