Scott began experimenting with electronics and guitar building from an early age, later joining Richard Hoover at the Santa Cruz Guitar Company where he hand-carved over 1,000 necks, including examples for Tony Rice and Norman Blake. Rising to Shop Foreman, he mastered every stage of acoustic guitar construction and finishing.

Driven to create an electric guitar for the modern era, Scott collaborated with Barry Sless, Peter Miller, John Cutler and Steve Kimock to develop instruments offering exceptional tonal range and advanced electronic versatility. A passionate guitarist and pedal steel player, his instruments reflect both innovation and deep musical understanding.
