A Chinese celadon and underglaze blue decorated porcelain covered jar – probably 19th century, of bulbous ovoid form, painted in blue and white with a phoenix beside peony flowers on a rocky outcrop, on a celadon ground, the cover painted with three bats (possibly matched), 20.75cm high.
* In good condition. Two tiny glaze frits to the edge of the rim (pin head size) and glaze flake to top of finial. A few small glaze scratches to the exterior. No other damage - no chips, cracks or hairlines. No restoration.
