A Russian silver gilt and niello twin-handled wine coaster, of tapering form with pierced foliate decoration and niello detailing on raised circular foot, with soviet hammer and sickle '875' mark, 13cm wide, 8.5cm high, weight 7.93ozt
Overall good. No major dents, splitting or signs of repair. Moderate amount of scratching to the surface. Heavy, patchy losses to gilt on the exterior, particularly on the high points, and moderate loss the the interior. Moderate abrasion and loss to the niello decoration. Some cleaning required.
