An antique unusual black forest carved wooden novelty letter opener modelled in the form of a closed umbrella, the handle is carved with a dogs head, the shaft concealing a slender wooden letter opener blade, the piece has plenty of charm and has good detail circa late 19th Century in good antique condition. It has a length of 28cm and a width of 3cm
