A LATE 19TH CENTURY ASTRAGAL GLAZED MAHOGANY MANTEL CLOCK, with ormolu style mounts to the front, the top with four pineapple finials one to each corner, the porcelain dial set within a convex glass door with gadrooned brass frame. The base of the clock has an unusual astragal glazed section which shows the pendulum within. The back is also glazed so that the workings are visible. Comes with a key to wind the clock. All raised on round bun shaped feet. Vendor states clock is in working order. Possibly originated in Finland/Northern Europe. Dimensions: 44cm high x 28cm wide x 13.5cm deep
