Mid to late 20th century dollhouse furniture and accessories

A mixed collection of about 30 vintage dollhouse miniatures dating from the 1950s to the 1980s, in wood, metal, plastic, fabric and ceramic. Key pieces include a wooden twin door cabinet, a slanted front writing desk with three drawers, a cream painted wardrobe with green knobs, white kitchen units with a stove and rolling pin, a metal samovar, a floral fabric upholstered armchair, a painted television unit, and a miniature abacus with coloured beads. Further items comprise assorted plastic tableware, utensils and food miniatures, a wired floor lamp on a yellow base, a small terracotta jug, a blue spool stool and a glazed tray. Boots branding is present on packaging among the accessories. Wear consistent with age and play with chips, scuffs and paint loss to several wooden and painted pieces, some items retaining bright colours. The group demonstrates the shift from handcrafted wooden furniture to mass produced plastic furnishings. Sizes to approximately 15 centimetres high.
