Wonderful 1930's Superior Quality Sterling Silver Black Enamel Lidded Hinged Box, with a carved green jade piece to centre of front cover, and silver bamboo style borders. Hallmarked Birmingham 1932, maker's mark Mappin & Webb. Measures 3'' - 7.5 cm wide, 2.25'' - 5.65 cm deep. Weight 116.1 grams. No damage to enamel, hinge excellent, closes with tight fit.
