(India, Punjab), two albums containing 150+ circa mid 20th Century photographs of Punjab school miniature paintings depicting various Sikh Gurus etc, the albums compiled by R.P. Srivastava, scholar and author on Punjab painting, photos loosely corner mounted, a small number of card leaves with corresponding manuscript notes/captions by Srivastava, images various sizes, mainly small approx 6 x 6cm, a few 8 x 6cm, circa 20 images larger approx 15 x 11cm, with a quantity of loose similar larger photographs and packets of negatives with notes/captions to envelopes by Srivastava. A scarce record of Punjab miniature paintings, with many of the original 18th & 19th Century paintings having been lost (2)
