1908-14 Picture postcards franked 1d to G.B or France, all posted on "Cunard" liners but transferred to American Line ships where the stamps were cancelled, comprising cards from the "Mauretania" cancelled with the Transatlantic P.O c.d.s code "1" (S.S "New York") or "2" (S.S "Philadelphia"), from the "Lusitania" with c.d.s code "6" (S.S "St. Paul") or from the "Lucania" with c.d.s code "10" (S.S "New York"), also a card from the "Celtic" (which had no Sea P.O aboard) cancelled by c.d.s code "3" (S.S "St. Louis"). Fine and scarce datestamps, code "10" not recorded used by Roger Hosking when he published his book in 1979. (5).
