A Gallotone Champion guitar - circa 1957, with a sunburst finish, including original headstock, badges and decals featuring 'Guaranteed not to Split' label to sound hole, together with period soft travel bag. Note: These Gallotone guitars were affordable instruments aimed at nascent musicians at a very particular point in the UK's musical history, with both John Lennon and Jimmy Page known to have learnt to play on such instruments. There are images of John Lennon and Paul McCartney at Woolton Fete, with John playing just such a guitar.
