A mid 19c French portico clock, the movement held between four barley sugar twist columns which stand on a rectangular step base and support a pediment with wavy top. The case is veneered in rosewood with boxwood floral inlays and has cast brass decoration around the base and pediment and around the dial. The movement is countwheel striking on a bell (missing) and is lacking its pendulum. The clocks stands 50cm tall overall.

The movement is loose in the case and requires a full overhaul. The bell and pendulum are missing. The hands are not original and one is broken. The case has missing and damaged veneers, particularly on the base and is missing its feet.
