An early 20th Century Morrisware vase by S. Hancock and Sons, designed by George Cartlidge decorated with purple flowers and dark green leaves against an olive green ground, printed factory mark and painted pattern number C4-3, height 23cm, restored.
Restored chip to the base, professionally restored but not invisible. There is a chip to the base occurring in production which has been glazed over. All over crazing and some patch staining.
