A Chinese Doucai Porcelain Bowl, Chenghua Mark. -

A Chinese doucai porcelain bowl, featuring polychrome enamel decoration over a white glazed ground. The design incorporates underglaze blue outlines filled with vibrant overglaze enamels in red, yellow, and green. The interior showcases a central medallion with a red flower, encircled by a green scalloped band, which then transitions to a scrolling vine pattern adorned with red and yellow flowers and green star-shaped leaves, a motif that continues across the exterior sides and around the base. The rim is finished with a double blue line border. On the base, there is a six-character underglaze blue reign mark within a double circle, reading "Dà Míng Chéng Huà Nián Zhì" (大明成化年製), which translates to "Made in the Chenghua reign of the Great Ming dynasty."
