MANCHESTER CITY / 1904 CUP FINAL Excellent piece of true City historical ephemera. City first won the English F.A. Cup in 1904 defeating Bolton 1-0 in the Final with a goal scored by Meredith. To mark the occasion, one of the players in the City team, S.B.Ashworth had eleven vases made and he presented one to each member of the team. This is one of those vases and all the players names are listed on one side of the vase which also states that Ashworth presented it to his team-mates to commemorate Manchester City winning the English Cup in 1904. Brown in colour, the vase stands approximately 13" (33cms) tall, has a diameter of 3.5" (9cm) which extends to 7" (18cms) if the handles are included in the measurement and whilst one handle has been repaired at some time, the vase is in generally good condition and is a genuine piece of early City memorabilia. As described
