A locomotive nameplate, PEVERIL POINT, from a London Brighton & South Coast Railway Marsh Atlantic Class H1 4-4-2 No 41 built by Kitson & Co, Works No 4355, in February 1906, and named after the headland forming the southern end of Swanage Bay on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. It became SR 2041 and BR 32041 and was withdrawn in March 1944 and cut up at Eastleigh Works. Cast brass, length 42", ex loco condition.
