Mid 18th Century Scottish Basket Hilt Sword double edged blade 757mm in length. Shallow fuller to each side of the blade which has an inscription. Blade is very worn and has nicks to cutting edge. Leather washer to blade. Shagreen covered grip. Overall length 892mm. No scabbard.
Rusted overall, blade has some nicks to edges. Much wear to the blade from sharpening.
