Another lot from Dore & Rees In Partnership with Argent's December auction to make a list, this oil on canvas fetched $70,000HK, just over £7,000.

8.      NN bay filly (DEN) Al Shemali - Hongkong Paradigm (Pistachio)

This lot sold in September at Dansk Galop and fetched KR65,000, which equates to just over £5,000.

This beautiful 4ct emerald and diamond ring went up for sale in July at Swelz (Pty) t/a Stephan Welz & Co. It fetched R71,000, which is just over £3,000 in GBP.

10. Austrian/German Coin

In February, this Austrian/German coin was sold at Swelz (Pty) t/a Stephan Welz & Co. It fetched R60,000 which is just over £2,500.
