Set Up Auction Alerts & Never Miss a Lot Again!

The second in our; 'How to make the most of Easy Live Auction' series. This time we take a look at auction alerts & how to set them up.

Do you have something specific you’re looking for? Perhaps you’re a collector always looking for new pieces to add to your collection, an antiques dealer looking for a specific piece or perhaps you have been searching far and wide for the perfect piece of furniture to finish of your décor?

At Easy Live Auction, we appreciate that you may not have the time to search our website on a daily basis, nor will you want to miss that perfect item you desire. This is why we created auction alerts. Free and simple to use they’re the answer to your prayers, so to speak.

Setting up an auction alert is really simple. All you need is an Easy Live Auction account, which is completely free of charge, and you’re ready to get going!

To begin with press the my alerts option from the tabs along the top of the website. Alternatively, from the homepage you will be able to see the free auction alerts image on the right. Simply click the button and you will be taken to a short form.

On the left you can select the days you receive emails from us with alerts. If you choose every day then whenever something matching your keywords is listed, we will email you. If you would prefer not to get daily emails, chose the days by ticking the boxes and we will only email you on your chosen days.

The next step is to enter your keywords in the keyword box. Whenever the keywords you have entered are found, in any order we will email you the results. You can restrict it to exact keyword match by checking the box below the keyword entry. It is important to remember that the name or description of an item may vary, so restricting to an exact match may result in you missing that all important item.

You can then select the minimum & maximum estimates if you wish to restrict the notifications to specific valuations. You also have the option to leave these blank. Finally you can give your alert a description and turn it on or off with the active check box.

Once you have an auction alert set up, you will be able to change the status by disabling it if desired or enabling it if you had turned it off previously. You can also search the auctions or delete the alert from here.

You can have up to 20 alerts set up at a time and we’ll notify you when the keywords you have entered crop up. Never miss a lot again!
