The Regent was built in 1921 by local builders and was used as a cinema until the late 1960’s when it became a bingo hall. In 2012 it was sold by auction to local man Richard Taylor who wanted to use the near derelict building as an antiques centre. After much restoration it opened in 2014 as the Regent Antiques Centre and has now expanded to 3 floors of antiques and collectables. We are open 7 days a week 10am till 4.30pm 10-4 on a Sunday where you can browse through the many different stalls and have lunch in the vintage tearoom.
We will offer a full house clearance service if required or the collection of single items of furniture for a carriage fee. The auctions will be held on the last Thursday of every month starting at 11am where you can buy and sell your antiques and curios. Payments can be made by cash or card and we expect all goods to be collected by close on the following Saturday.
