Established around 100 years ago Okehampton Auctions has a long history & association with the town.
15 years ago we moved from the town centre to our permanent site at Fatherford therefore avoiding the traffic congestion & being a minute away from the A30 dual carriageway with fast access to the main UK road routes.

With regular sales throughout the year our highly experienced staff can assist with free advice regarding goods consigned with us, including identification of items & setting reserve prices where required. Our Vendors also appreciate our rapid payment system with cheques sent out just 9 days after the sale.

Our sales usually have between 800 & 1000 lots & goods are sold in a recognised pattern of categories so that purchasers can guage when lots of interest to them will go through the room.
Our sales include Garden effects & Tools, China & Glass, Collectables, Silver & Plate, Jewellery, Pictures, Furniture, Furnishings & Household Effects & even Classic & Modern Vehicles, Caravans & Machinery when required - truly offering something for everyone!
Our Auctions are always featured in The Western Morning News Antiques section on the Saturday prior to the sale & much work is done behind the scenes to personally alert buyers from far & wide when specialist items come up for sale.

With a good amount of parking available help is always on hand to assist buyers & vendors with loading & unloading their goods.
Known for our happy & lively atmosphere we pride ourselves on the large amount of repeat custom that we enjoy.

We also offer our reasonably priced indemnified Valuation service for Probate & Insurance & a comprehensive house clearance operation where required.
